The apartment is at the beginning of Copacabana, in the quiet Leme, in rua (street) Anchieta. From here you can wonderfully explore the whole of Copacabana and Rio. Leme is a quiet neighborhood with more security than many other neighborhoods in Rio.
It is located on the fourth floor of a quiet high-rise building that was built in 1950. With 24 hour porter service. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach. You just have to go down, walk a few meters, cross the rua (street) Gustavo Sampaio, pass the Leme Palace Hotel and you come to the great Atlântica Avenue, the street of the beach - with two large promenades. So the apartment is very close to the sea. You can even hear the mysterious smells of the waves when you are lying in bed or smoking a cigarette by the window while looking at the sea!
The foyer is very large, where a comfortable sofa allows you to rest after a long walk. And this entrance area is entirely in Carrara marble.
The porters are also sitting there, opening the door for residents and guests.
The building has two lifts. The service elevator is used to go to and from the beach in swimwear - or for the service staff and people with dogs. And works from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There is also an extra door below that is for the beach aisles and service personnel.
The large living room has a dining area, a large sofa, an extra bed and a large window with partial sea view, where there is also another single bed with a bed table and lamp.
You also have sea views from the two bedrooms, each with a double bed.
The Fiorentina, a well-known meeting point for artists, is also only a 5-minute walk from the apartment.
Banks, pharmacies and internet cafes are also nearby.
There is a bakery and a vegetable shop across the street. A fruit shop and a shoemaker on the same side.
The nearest subway station is General Arco Verde and is only 15 minutes away on foot. You can walk this 15 minutes through Avenida Atlântica - the beach avenue. A very pleasant walk!
Various bus lines depart from Anchieta Street on the corner of Strand Allee. And that's only 30 meters from the apartment.
There is a taxi stand across from the Leme Palace Hotel which is across the street from the apartment.
