Positive: We were given clear instructions on how to get to the property as it was a bit off the beaten track but the hostess was there to greet us. The Gite is situated in a tranquil and picturesque setting, surrounded by forests and in an elevated position with a delightful view towards the nearby village. The accommodation was perfect in every way with a wonderful bathroom, well stocked kitchen with utensils, crockery and cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. The bed was SO comfortable. Faultless!
Negative: So far as we were aware, there was no WIFI but this didn't bother us as our stay was for one night only. You have to make up your own bed and we weren't sure if there was actually a double duvet cover supplied for the double bed. We found a double fitted bottom sheet in the box in the bedroom and one pillowcase so used those. I had my own pillow with pillowcase so all good there! We had our own separate sheets with us so used those to keep us covered and separate from the duvet. We used our own towels but think that there may have been towels provided (?) as we found some in one of the sliding cupboards on the morning we were leaving. We could have asked our hostess about the above as she was lovely and very accommodating - but as we had our own supplies of things, we didn't bother her!
