Summary: We enjoyed our three week vacation in Tenerife and were very happy with this apartment. It is exactly like the description and photos seen on-line, even better.The apartment is located in an established, well-maintained building which is right beside the ocean and has a beautiful pool, a nice garden courtyard and play areas for children. It si steps to the small beach recommended by Lonely Planet and a short hike to another, larger beach. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. All the furnishings are in good condition.The bedroom is small but has lots of cupboard space. We especially enjoyed the large terrace with its great ocean view up the coast. The owner is friendly, eager to help, speaks English perfectly and is available locally if needed. The town is small and quiet and retains a sense of authenticity lacking in some other more touristy places. It is right near the main highway, making it easy to tour the island and get to nearby stores and restaurants. There are a couple of grocery shops and restaurants with irregular hours within walking distance but a car is needed. Lots of free parking is available. It is a laid-back place on the dry, sunny side of the island. The local scenery is stark but interesting. We found it a great location for sightseeing and for relaxing. The apartment is very nice, quiet and comfortable. It would suit a couple or family with one child.
