Jaw dropping views! Flamingo Casa Miramar is a beautiful, large house on the north ridge of Flamingo, Costa Rica. The views are AMAZING and unforgettable! It's a perfect property for family & friends. Comfortably accommodating 16 guests, the house and terrace are spacious, well furnished and relaxing. Martha, Jazmina and Jan are the caretakers providing a strong sense of security at the house and work hard to make your stay relaxing, fun and memorable. Martha will take care of the housekeeping duties and offers cooking services at reasonable prices. Jazmina and Jan maintain the pool, yard and any other needs you may have. Martha's cooking services are optional and additional fees apply but WELL worth it. Her meals are delicious and it's very convenient to wake up and eat breakfast at the house. For more information about Martha's cooking service, please inquire and coordinate with your host. As the renter of Casa Miramar, it's your choice as to whether you want the staff there during your stay. If you prefer not, please inform Jennifer before you arrive. If you want them to be there to keep the house clean throughout your stay, it's customary to tip them.
Casa Miramar is close to the quaint town of Flamingo and the beautiful white sand beach. There are about 65 restaurants within a 5 mile area and an active nightlife in close by Potrero. You can be as lazy or active as you want to be! Ziplining, horseback riding, tubing, rafting, ATV tours, sailing, scuba diving, kayaking, catamaran sunset cruise and much more are available.
Flamingo Casa Miramar's driveway is gated and has ample space for parking cars or golf carts. The driveway is very steep and challenging for large vehicles, shuttles and those with physical challenges to walk up and down. Transportation with golf cart rentals or rental cars is highly recommended for the area. Please inquire with Jennifer.
Several grocery stores are close to the house but better to access with transportaiton. The Flamingo Marina, Amigos Tacos Y Beer and many other restaurants are in Flamingo and surrounding towns. Again... transportation is HIGHLY recommended! Medical care is excellent and available 24/7.
The closest beach to Casa Miramar is a small, private feeling beach about 150 yards from the house. Martha, Jaz or Jan will show you how to get to it. Flamingo Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in Costa Rica but the area also boasts the beautiful beaches at Conchal, Penca, Dante and Prieta! Truly worth exploring.

Summary: You walk in the door, up the stairs to the main level and an amazing view greets you. The terrace off the main room faces the ocean, has a nice pool and hot tub. a couple shaded areas (depending on the time of day) and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Large house that suited our multi generation family group of 10 very well. Due to the very steep driveway and equally steep hill down to the nearby beach we recommend people to be relatively fit to stay here. The pool deck can be slippery with wet feet. No Running was the refrain of the day. The 3 ensuite bedrooms on the main floor were very nice. The downstairs had one large king bdrm, with a nice large bathroom, it was the quietest, partly because it had no window. the 2 queen bdrm was nice, had an ensuite bathroom but the laundry alcove, used by guests and staff alike was directly off this room. The bunk room worked well for our youngest grandkids, no ensuite for that. Jennifer and Chip were extremely helpful, arranging golf carts, and airport shuttles, recommending outings and quickly responding to any questions we had. Martha made us delicious guacamole and tamales. It was a great family vacation.
