2 Bedroom Cabin in Meadow View Heights, Duck Creek Village

Nestled on a quiet, dead-end street in Duck Creek Village, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin offers a beautiful mountain retreat for up to 4 guests, sitting at 8,600 feet in the high mountain desert of Southern Utah. Enjoy a cozy outdoor firepit, private deck with breathtaking views, and a fully stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals. Additional amenities include high-speed wifi, and an outdoor dining area on the deck.
We require 4 wheel drive and chains in the winter. We highly recommend an SUV or higher clearance vehicle for the remainder of the year as the roads to the cabin and in the village are not paved and uneven.
✓ There is no AC. We open windows and the locking screen “storm” doors at night to allow the cool mountain air in. Temperatures in the summer are generally in the high 40’s-50’s at night. Daytime temperatures are rarely above 85 degrees. We have ceilings fans in each bedroom and portable fans. We only use our ceiling fans as it is in the 60’s inside the cabin at night.
If you’re looking to unwind in nature, be close to all the area has to offer, and have the utmost privacy, you’ve come to the right spot. Here’s a bit of an overview of what to expect:

• Wood-burning stove (wood provided)
• Garage for ATV/bike storage

• New ( Aug 2025) Blackstone flat top griddle/grill + outdoor dining area (not accessible during winter months). We have two tanks but we don’t guarantee they will be full. They can be exchanged or refilled at True Value or Loose Wheels gas station in the village (2 miles from our cabin).
Our cabin was built in 1981 — it’s not perfect, and we don’t claim it is. But it’s our little slice of heaven, and we do our best to share it with others in an honest, welcoming, and thoughtful way.
We are directly above the Duck Creek Community Church (on the mountain), so you will hear the beautiful church bells throughout the day.

Summary: This cabin was great and perfect for a few days on our winter trip. Right in duck creek village and overlooks a big meadow. Cabin was stocked with everything..spices, pots, pans, kettle, plenty of dishes and even had birdfood for the feeders. Deck was great for sitting and relaxing in the sun even with snow around. Communication and check in went smoothly. Directions were clear. Roads are steep and dirt so if coming in winter be prepared with an appropriate vehicle. Snow melt creates lots of mud! Owner had snow shovel handy and all the tools to manage the wood fire. Any questions were answered within minutes by owner. Cabin is within an hour to Bryce canyon and Cedar breaks park. Brian head ski resort is also nearby. Small cabin with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. King beds were very comfy. Huge wood fireplace and plenty of wood provided. Bring groceries from outside of town as duck creek village has limited opportunities and not always open. Owner provides very comprehensive information. Loved our trip. Thank you Jennifer (owner)
