Summary: We had a great holiday as a family of four (with two kids aged 7 and 9) at Finca Las Mariposas. There are so many great things to say about this place, starting with the hosts, Annette and Peter, who were incredibly attentive and communicated excellently with us in the lead-up to our arrival. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible holiday. We stayed in the Sol and Luna cottages, conveniently located on the same level as the swimming pool. This setup, along with the grill and seating area nearby, made our stay even more enjoyable. The kids had a blast swimming, toasting marshmallows, and running around in the spacious outdoor area. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted—the cottages exceeded our expectations. They were spotless, with a refreshing breeze and breathtaking views: the front overlooked the charming village and the sea, while the back presented a stunning rocky mountain vista. The skylights in the ceilings added a special touch, keeping the cottages bright during the day and allowing us to stargaze from our beds at night. The location is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet close enough to walk to bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and shops. Plus, there are plenty of attractions unique to the north side of the island, all within easy reach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay... we highly recommend and we will definitely come back!!
