Positive: Our stay at Blockhäuser Fewo4 Harzblick was truly enjoyable, and we would highly recommend it for anyone planning a visit to the Harz region. One of the highlights of our stay was the warm and friendly hospitality from the host. The apartment is very spacious, featuring two large bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. Whether you're planning a family trip or a getaway with friends, the ample space and practical layout make it easy to feel at home. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the Harz. Situated right by the "Green Belt," it offers great opportunities for hiking and nature walks, even right in Hohegeiß itself. For those interested in day trips, many of the region's top attractions are just a short drive away. The views from the apartment are stunning. From both the balcony and the living room, you get a wide, panoramic view of the beautiful surrounding landscape, which was a daily highlight for us. It’s a great place to relax with a morning coffee or unwind after a day of exploring. Another great perk is the parking, which is conveniently located right in front of the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a guest WC and a bathroom, which is very practical for larger groups. There is a small local shop (Edeka) for the essentials at walking distance in Hohegeiß, in Benneckenstein at just 3 km distance there are bigger shops like Norma and another, bigger Edeka
Negative: The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was quite slow (like most internet connections in Germany). However, this didn’t bother us much since we spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
