Situated on the beautiful east coast of Antigua, 20 minutes from VC Bird Airport. Brightside is a privately owned 4500 square foot, 4 bedroom luxury family villa with pool, offering magnificent sea views over Lawries Bay. A few minutes walk across the street is a luxury resort hotel, the Verandah Resort and Spa and rental includes a discounted guest pass to the hotel's activities including non-motorised water sports, tennis, mini golf and use of the swimming pools, beaches and all inclusive restaurants.
Brightside villa is set in a beautiful part of the island enjoying National Park surroundings with rolling hills and lush vegetation and within a leisurely stroll from Devil's Bridge, one of Antigua's most beautiful eco-tourism destinations. The villa is also a few minutes walk from Long Bay, one of Antigua's most beautiful beaches protected by a reef and providing excellent safe swimming and snorkelling.
The villa is part of the gated villa development of Verandah Estates with security and it is within easy access of the airport and the capital of St John's. Driving time from V.C. Bird International Airport is about 20 minutes, and about 30 minutes from St. John's. The villa itself provides luxury accommodation including a magnificent large master bedroom with 4 poster bed with its own large balcony offering lovely sea views over the bay. There are 2 twin bedrooms and one additional double bedroom offering flexible and spacious accommodation for families. The villa has been beautifully furnished throughout by a local interior designer and has air-conditioning in all bedrooms.

Summary: This is a beautiful and spacious house, with few houses currently built in the development, so it was very private, with lovely green fields around us. It was perfect for our 3 generations vacation, with a pool that kept the kids happy, plenty of space and options for family activities, and the peace and quiet that appealed to the grandparents. Having access to Verandah resort made this rental a winning combination: we could get more activity when anyone wanted it by using the beaches and facilities there, an easy walk or drive away. The house would benefit from cushions on the chaise lounges on the back verandah: if there were some we could not find them. All in all we were very happy with our choice of this rental.
