Rest & relax by stepping back in time to an era of the simple things in life in a 1952 fisherman's shack, with all the luxury creature comforts to offer a premium & comfortable stay for up to 8 people for families, friends & fur babies to enjoy.
On your arrival immerse yourself in a private & secluded decked courtyard as you enter Mr Percival from the carport with off street parking 3 cars. Feel secure, fully fenced with lockable gates, perfect for your fur babies and children to enjoy the deck and lawn out the back.
The deck extends as an outdoor room with the large cafe doors opening from the home to the deck with an outdoor table, lounge chairs & umbrella to dine, relax and indulge to allow the indoor and outdoors to harmoniously combine.
Inside
Once you enter Mr Percival from the deck feel at home in the large open living, dining and kitchen area that has been created to make you & your guests to relax. Chill on the couches reading inspiring magazines & books, watching Netflix & Paramount Plus or playing board & card games.
A dining table for 8, with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for enjoying on holiday. Your additional comforts needs are catered for with a reverse cycle split system, ceiling fan & a cozy wood combustion fireplace.
Sleeping
Mr Percival sleeps up to 8 with 3 bedrooms, including 2 bedrooms with Queen size beds & the 3rd bedroom with a double bed, top single bed bunk & a trundle bed. New ceiling fans have been installed in all 3 bedrooms.
All bedrooms are have brand new Freedom beds with European Flax quilt covers, 400gsm bamboo sheets, microfibre pillows, Scottish tartan blankets & Indian kanthas with cotton waffle blankets. Curated & styled with a ode to the water, Scotland and the historic area of Goolwa feel at home & comfortable in Mr Percival with a holiday feel.
Additional Comforts
A recently renovated bathroom with double shower & makeup mirror.
Laundry/wet area with a Bosch front loader washing machine and area for a fur babies to sleep and additional amenities such as outside games, Cabana beach towels and other provisions for the beach & picnics. The outside door is equipped with a fitted doggy door for your fur baby to access inside and out.
Outside
Out the back door enjoy a variety of relaxing holiday pursuits. An undercover paved area provides a new 4 burner BBQ with lounge chairs & a bar fridge. The back door has a doggy door for your fur baby to access the inside and outside.
Enjoy an outdoor shower amongst the fruit trees and bougainvillea out the back, an additional amenity when you return from a day at the beach or on the water.
In the cooler months toast marshmallows over the outdoor firepit in the cozy area, with firewood provided for your stay.
Utilise the lawn area & keep entertained outdoors with a range of outdoor games and pursuits provided for your stay including mini table tennis, totem tennis, cricket, quoits & many more.
