EL NIDO is located just 60 short yards from Cabo Pulmo’s ocean front and living coral reefs in the Sea of Cortez, one lot west of VILLA & CASA DEL MAR. EL NIDO’s unique design creates separate living spaces in its 1,200 sq ft, two-level floor plan, offering two bedrooms & two bath rooms. EL NIDO’s sun-drenched living room & kitchen/dining room bring the outdoors in through sliding doors & large windows, framing beautiful mountain views to the west from main floor living & patios plus ocean views from the south-facing shaded patio and EL NIDO’s second level vista deck. EL NIDO’s builders have paid special attention to every detail guaranteeing a comfortable stay. Guests staying in EL NIDO will delight in our fully-equipped kitchen complete with multiple sets of dishware & modern convenience items, including microwave oven, blender, mini-chopper, juicer, mixer, toaster, coffee grinder, plus a variety of table linens to set a beautiful table for up to 8 guests. EL NIDO’s living room boasts two incredibly comfortable inner-spring double-size futon for overflow sleeping, or just streaming on TV, or our DVD-VCR, or listening to music on the CD/cassette player (with USB port for personal music plus-ins). EL NIDO also offers complimentary wireless internet. The main floor queen bedroom also has its own patio, with umbrella table & chairs, chaise lounges & hammock, plus a connecting bath that can also be accessed from the living room. EL NIDO’s upper floor, which feels wonderfully airy & spacious with its gently sloping ceiling & high peaked roof, houses the second bathroom & second over-size bedroom, offering four personal areas, each outfitted with a twin bed, three-drawer bureau, reading-lamp & private window for views & ventilation. Every living & sleeping area has one or more ceiling fans. The eastern walkway has a large sink & counter for cleaning your ocean-catch. Our BAJA PARADISE private compound offers three luxury villas, ocean-front VILLA DEL MAR, ocean-view CASA DEL MAR (20-steps to beach) and ocean -view EL NIDO (60-yds to beach). For large groups or family reunions, our BAJA PARADISE compound can sleep up to 26 quests. PLEASE NOTE: The rates shown on VRBO's availability calendar are our 2-guest base rate for the season in which you are requesting a reservation. If you have more than 2-guests, VRBO's platform with automatically add a small additional nightly fee of $25/nt per person to the subtotal you will see in the detail area, plus tax.

Summary: We stayed at El Nido in Cabo Pulmo for 10 days. We did a lot of snorkeling and desert hiking. This is a very safe little village with tons of SCUBA and snorkeling operators. There are also a half dozen of restaurants, all quite good. El Nido itself was perfect. A main bedroom downstairs with en-suite, and upstairs a bunch of beds, a table and another bathroom. Back and front porch are perfect so we can be either in the sun or in the shade no matter the time of day. There is a ground keeper and staff. They are very helpful and nice. Their main activity is to maintain the three rentals and grounds but the housekeeper will come and straighten up the house from time to time. All and all, I could not recommend this place enough, we are counting the days (months or years) we can come back.
