Scotia Fishery is located one mile south and is the perfect place if you'd like to spend a fun-filled afternoon with the largest freshwater fishery in the north coast. Even more to see with just a quick drive, Rio Dell is 17 miles south of the Victorian Village of Ferndale and for those nature enthusiasts, you are a mere 20 miles from the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Lastly, you will find the gorgeous beaches in Trinidad, Six Rivers National Forest, hiking trails, biking trails and for a longer jaunt, you are 80 miles from the Redwood National Park and Fern Canyon.
