La nord se invecinaneaza cu o fostă fermă piscicolă de circa 500 Ha, iar la vest și la nord-vest cu o pădure de plopi canadieni, ceea ce oferă posibilități pentru pescuit și vânătoare, dar și pentru plimbări sau drumeții în scopul de a vedea fauna și flora specifice Deltei Dunării.

În depărtare se profilează munții Mahmudiei-Bestepe, cei mai vechi-era hercinică-din Europa.
