1 Bedroom Cabin in Sonoita, Madera Canyon

Relax on the deck overlooking a creek in this recently renovated 1 Bdr 556 square foot cabin in Madera Canyon, AZ, surrounded by the Coronado National Forest. Full kitchen. Property is walking distance to trailheads, picnic areas and favorite birdwatching spots.
If you are traveling with friends, please check out my property next door that sleeps 4. It's called Madera Canyon home w/spectacular mountain view.
Please note: There is no TV reception (we do have a dvd player). Satellite Internet is provided (but may be slower than you are used to and is subject to weather outages). This is a remote property. Your cell phone will have limited connectivity in the canyon (Verizon works best, but we suggest you set up wifi calling on your phone). While there are two gift stores in the canyon, the next closest businesses are 15 miles away. I recommend you get gas and stop at the grocery store before you drive into the canyon.
Please note: There is NO washing machine on the premises.

Summary: You can not beat the location if you are a birder. Next to the Kubo and Santa Rita birdfeerders! You have the luxury of your own porch where you can put out seed and hummer feeders (we brought our own). Madera Canyon is a birding mecca and it was great to make birding runs and then come back for our own bathroom and deck. Owner has provided everything you need. I would recommend arriving and then food shopping if possible. Green Valley Safeway is 20 min away (unless you keep stopping to get that new bird). Major tip: once you have fully paid you will get your lockbox combo - WRITE IT DOWN. There is no wifi until you are inside - which is more than adequate - but you are stuck outside if you don't have the combo to the lock. Thank you Molly for your patience!!!
