Positive: The guesthouse was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The beds (1 king, 1 double, 2 twins) were all super comfortable with high quality linens and pillows. The guesthouse was quiet, very clean, and very comfortable. The kitchenette is simple but has most all of what we needed to prepare and serve delicious meals. The outdoor area was the unexpected and delightful surprise. The pool is deep at one end with elegant brick trim. The water in the pool and spa were very clean and refreshing; the spa warmed up quickly. With succulent plants and relaxing decor, the pool area was an oasis for our family during a very hot weekend. Also the AC works very well inside the house.
Negative: The 2nd bedroom is a loft, as described, and shared the upstairs bathroom through the master bedroom. This was no problem at all for us since our kids slept there. But good to know ahead of time. The loft is sheltered off with a screen and very private. Our daughters loved it.
