If lively bars and restaurants are not your scenes, lakes (Lady Bird Lake), parks (Zilker Park), and trails (Boardwalk Trail) are just around the corner and can be easily reached with rentable bikes, scooters, and Uber!
Please note that since the apartment was constructed in the 1970's, the exterior of the apartment building itself is certainly older and imperfections for things such as exterior paint and finishings are to be expected for a building of this age. Given the building's age, some interior styles might also be considered "outdated", such as popcorn ceilings and minor imperfections with walls and other interior trims. The inside of the apartment unit itself is certainly very functional with modern furniture and all of the listed amenities, and is also very budget-friendly for such a great location.
The apartment itself is about 500 square feet (floorplan in photos) and is certainly a smaller 1BR apartment, so please keep that in mind when booking. A group of adults and children can certainly fit well, but a group of 6 adults might be a tight squeeze.

Riverside, also known as East Riverside-Oltorf, is a fast-growing and increasingly trendy community right next to Downtown Austin. Strip malls, small businesses, and loyal natives boasting a no-frills attitude fill the spaces in between the greenery and residential areas. Guests can enjoy a scenic view of Lady Bird Lake and the city beyond while taking a walk along The Boardwalk. The neighborhood is home to many artists and musicians whose influences color the community in classic Austin fashion. Visit hotspots like Buzzmill coffee, The Bazaar or Emo’s, one of the most prominent nightclubs in Austin for chart-topping musicians and performers.
Getting Around:

All Austin locations and attractions are easily accessible and budget-friendly through the many rideshare apps (i.e. Uber, Lyft) that are available on your smartphone from this location. For example, Downtown Austin bars, restaurants, and attractions are only a 5-minute Uber ride from the apartment.
★ Buses ★
In addition to rideshare, guests can also access many parts of Austin through the CapMetro bus routes. The apartment is within a 5-minute walking distance to one of the major bus routes' bus stops at Riverside/Shore District.
★ Scooters/Mopeds/Bicycles ★
Since this apartment is located in one of the trendiest areas of Austin right next to Downtown Austin, there are tons of rentable scooters (Lime, Bird), mopeds, and bicycles right outside of the apartment complex for guests to use and explore Austin with. Prices are very fair and in our opinion, this is the best way to see what Austin has to offer.

The sofa converts in to a futon, best for overnight guests. There is video surveillance on the exterior of the home only for your safety and the safety of other guests.
