Positive: The cabin itself was lovely. The location was a nice quiet area surrounded by forest, which we enjoyed. A variety of paths providing walks in the forest had been created, which was good.
Negative: Description indicated that bathroom was en-suite when in fact it was in another building (the owner has now updated that info on booking.com). We would not have booked had we known, as my wife often needs the bathroom during the night and she was wary about going outside into the forest at night, so I had to get up too, to go with her. Slightly scary driving on the dirt road to access the property, passing other properties that looked dilapidated and occupied by people you wouldn’t want to meet down a dark alley. But they were probably fine, just my skittish nature.
