Summary: This VRBO was a great location for us as we were going to an event at Thomas and Mack. The organization of the host seems to be a bit scattered, but the host was communicative on the day of check in via text. However any pre communication was very sparse. Usually, I expect a welcome binder with information, expectations, and highlights in the area, there was no such welcome in this unit. This would’ve helped in some of the transition from one guest to another. Plus - no WiFi listed anywhere? The kitchen was great and what we needed to get through the weekend. The coffee set up was good and had some coffee available. We noticed there wasn’t an ice cube tray in the fridge, which lacked an ice machine. While minor, in 120 degree heat, that was disappointing. The rooms are basic and just fine for a standard VRBO. TVs in each room was super handy and the large TV in the living room we’re nice. The lack of detail to towels and toiletries was disappointing, only 4 towels in a place that says it sleeps 7. Plus, the towels were a bit worn and were not the same style, which shows lack of care and attention. PSA to those who are light sleepers, or just in general, the upstairs apartment is quite loud. While not in control of the hosts, it was frustrating and did affect sleep. Overall, it did the trick for what we needed, but mediocre effort on the part of the hosts.
