Positive: We found ourselves in a lovely accommodation nestled in the charming countryside, with a kitchen that proved to be quite functional for our needs. On our journey to Kyosan, we took a scenic back road recommended by the GPS, which was truly breathtaking.
Negative: However, back at the accommodation, it felt very much lived in—perhaps a bit too much so, with an eclectic mix of items and a kitchen that leaned toward the messy side. One surprise was the bath, located in a separate building and shared with other guests. This arrangement made the stay feel a bit less worth the price, to be honest.
