the Gatinais park on foot or by bike (bicycle and cart rental 10 € / day). To see: Milly la Forêt (6kms) with its 15th century market hall, St Blaise chapel, Cocteau's house and the Cyclop . The Château de Courances (2kms) and its magnificent Japanese garden. The Fontainebleau forest (for climbing and walking), Barbizon village of artists and art galleries.
