Riverside is a unique and peaceful suburb, sitting on the hillside west of Launceston. There are several walking tracks found within Riverside and its surrounds including the Tamar Island Wetlands nature reserve, the Notley Fern Gorge and the Tailrace Park. Within these tracks you’ll be treated to a variety of different landscapes and tracks, an abundance of native flora and flora species and historical landmarks. Enjoy some of the most beautiful urban wilderness, right on your doorstep. Such tracks include the North Esk Riverside walk, Notley Fern Gorge and the Tamar Island Wetlands nature preserve.
