Cosy house with infra-red sauna | House in Zandvoorde

2 Bedroom House in Zandvoorde
Welcome to our cottage Akkerland located in the second smallest village of Belgium : Zandvoorde near Zonnebeke.
The home of Jacques Brel's grandparents.
Without any doubt this is where Jacques found his inspiration to write his song Vlaanderen Vlakke Land. The flat land to which Brel refers in the song is West-Flanders, the region in Belgium where his family originally came from. It is a region with many open fields and few trees.
Le Plat Pays, however, is located on a sandy 'voorde' (or hill).
It is an enchanting region where you can completely relax.
Our cottage Akkerland is equipped with all comforts.
A gas heater makes it cozy in the winter.
The infrared sauna ensures relaxation of your muscles.
At the back you can fully enjoy, on the south facing terrace, the flat landscape and the sun.
The landscaped garden provides sufficient privacy.
At the front you have a view of the church, which is within walking distance.
