Our Topsail Beach Cottage is located across the street (second row) from the beach with private beach access, far from crowds and public access points. This Charming 2 bedroom with large Bunk room (sunroom) and 1.5 baths can sleep 10, though 6-8 would fit more comfortably. This 1 story, beach bungalow is easily accessible up just 3 stairs and all bedrooms, kitchen, main living, and bathroom are on one level. The two main bedrooms each have a Queen bed with small closet and the sunroom has been converted to a bunk room with a Full XL, over a Queen, over a Full XL trundle (perfect for sleeping a group of kids or teens). The bunk room also has it's own smart tv and a door to close it off from the rest of the house. The back entrance to the house and back deck are accessed through the bunk room. The galley style kitchen is small but functional, with an electric cooktop, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, and new fridge with ice maker.
The dining table seats 6 or can have the leaf removed for a 4 person game table. The sectional seats 4 and is perfect for lounging and watching a movie on rainy days.
The full bath has one small sink, toilet, and shower stall and the outdoor shower is perfectly private (for full shower use). Downstairs there is a flex space with rug, table, games, washer and dryer, and half bath (toilet and sink).
Under the house there is beach gear storage--chairs, beach bikes, boogie boards, buckets and beach toys.
There is plenty of parking behind the home or in front.
The outdoor deck has seating and the brick patio under the trees offers additional outdoor gathering space.
We absolutely love this part of Topsail Island! The Beach nourishment over the years means the beach is nice and wide, even at high tide. The home owners in this area are all second home owners so there are very few people on the beach as it is set farther away from public beach accesses.
The town of Topsail Beach is located just a few miles south with excellent food (Beach Shop Grill), Drinks (wine bar with music) and public boat launches.
