This small and charming cabin was built in the 1950's with local rocks from Rocky Bottom. Recently renovated to include all modern amenities and well appointed comforts. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this cozy cabin is part of the beautiful Jocassee Gorges and has numerous waterfalls and hiking trails within a short driving distance. Rocky Bottom is nestled in the forest directly below the highest mountain in South Carolina, Sassafrass Mountain. The waterfalls and rock formations in this area are an amazing sight to see. We hope you will come to take a break from the hustle and bustle and relax to the sounds of rushing water, birds singing and take a deep breath of fresh mountain air. Summary: Had a really good time staying at this cute, well appointed home. We didn’t spend much time in the actual house, however, our stay was pleasant and the scenic location and stream behind the house was top notch. Would definitely recommend.
