La Majada Alta is situated within a National Park, and stands in several thousand square metres of private grounds in an exceptionally beautiful area of mountains and lakes. Skiing
The ski resort of Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Granada is open from Christmas until the end of April. The lift system is fast and modern with gondolas and 4 man chairs and skiing is up to 3000m with varied runs and a possible 1000m descent. You can be on piste in less than 3 hours from the cottage.
