Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: I loved how convenient the location was — close enough to walk to SPOT/De Oosterpoort and the centre of Groningen, but still peaceful and quiet at night. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, and the canal view with the houseboats was lovely. The communal kitchen was also a great bonus.
Negative: The only minor downside was that the room became quite warm during the unusually hot 33°C weather. It was still manageable, but a fan in the room would make summer stays even more comfortable.
Summary: Great location, lovely host, & a peaceful stay. verything we needed for a brilliant trip to Gronin
