Casa Oaxaca is a peaceful retreat designed for close gatherings with friends and family. The newly remodeled open-concept home is inspired by Mexican design from Oaxaca, pairing rustic materials and warm earth tones with simple modern forms. The newly built and beautifully landscaped garden provides guests a private resort experience with all features and amenities of a luxury boutique hotel. This serene setting is the perfect place to relax and soak in desert sun.
Garden features a brand new, fully automated, modern pool with integrated tanning beach and elevated hot tub. Pool and hot tub are finished with pebble tec and both are heated with easy control from your smartphone. The tanning beach is 1.5’ deep and features two partially submerged lounge chairs and an umbrella insert for shade. The hot tub can comfortably seat 6-8 people and has a wide paved platform for sitting and dangling your feet in the water. A few steps away sits a gas fire pit with plush lounge seating for 8 so you can enjoy the cool desert nights in the warm glow of the fire and bistro lights.
The garden also has a brand new outdoor kitchen with two counter top bars, one with seating for 4 and the second with a built-in 6-burner gas grill and 3-day ice chest. The entire area is shaded by a pergola with ceiling fan, dimmable recessed lighting, and plentiful power outlets. The grounds are extensively landscaped with tall bamboo privacy fencing, ficus hedges, cacti, agave, bottlebrush, palm, and olive trees. Our aim is to provide a natural and restorative setting for your intimate gatherings.
The interior of the home is newly renovated with vibrant warm walls, dimmable lighting throughout, high quality furnishing, tasteful art and decor, and thoughtful design choices. Above all, we prioritize comfort and quality for our guests, from mattresses and pillows (SweetNight) to sofas, lounge chairs, and lighting. Each bedroom is designed for maximum comfort with hotel quality bedding and considerate touches including, smart TVs, luggage racks, and bedside tables, lighting and plug-ins. The home was built in 2018 and features upgraded fixtures, stainless steel appliances, and modern flooring.

Safely Damage Waiver: As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with $1500 worth of coverage for accidental contents damage or property damage. This means you can vacation with peace of mind that you wont be unknowingly charged after your check out for minor accidental damages that may happen during your stay. All we ask is that you inform us of any damage so that we can file the claim with Safely.
Payment Terms: A valid credit card is required to be kept on file upon reservation. A member of our team will reach out to you upon booking to update your reservation guest portal with a valid credit card. The actual reservation payment is processed by VRBO. For most bookings 50% is due upon booking and the remaining 50% is due 60 days before check in. If your check in is less than 60 days away, VRBO may ask for the entire reservation amount upfront. We have no control over VRBO payment terms; please reach out to VRBO for any questions regarding the payment schedule.
Outdoor Noise Limits: All units are equipped with a NoiseAware volume tracking devices. These devices track decibel levels. Amplified noise or music is allowed outside as long as it is not Quiet Hours. Quiet hours is from 9pm-8am Sunday-Thursday and 10pm-8am Friday-Saturday, during which any speakers and all amplified noise is prohibited even if it is coming from inside the home. Any other outdoor noise must be kept to a reasonable level during Quiet Hours. These are city regulations and we must abide by them to keep our short term rental license. Upon the first notification from NoiseAware of a noise violation, we will reach out to the Guest to take corrective action. If the Guest is unresponsive or if no corrective action is taken, Guest may be liable to a $500 charge. Furthermore, if code enforcement goes to the property and issues a citation, Guest will be responsible for paying the entire citation amount. Guest authorizes manager to charge credit card on file for any fines issued by code enforcement or any charges for breaking noise policy.
Cancellations: Cancellation policy is more flexible for bookings made through our website than for bookings made through VRBO. On VRBO, for any cancellations made 60 days or more from check in, you will receive a 50% refund. For any cancellations made within 60 days from check in, you will receive no refund. If the reservation is cancelled with 48 hours from booking, you will receive a full refund as long as check in is more than 30 days away. There is a strict no cancellation policy for all major holidays, major tennis or golf tournaments, and music festivals. Festivals include but are not limited to Power Trip, Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals. Special events and music festivals that are cancelled, postposed, or altered in any way, for any reason, do not qualify for any refund, alteration of the reservation or cancellation, including Acts of God, pandemics, epidemics or health outbreaks such as COVID-19. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED IN CASE OF EARLY DEPARTURE OR CANCELLATION FOR ANY FESTIVAL BOOKING.

1. No parties or events are allowed.
2. As per Indio City Policy for vacation rentals, outdoor Quiet Hours is between 9PM - 8AM on weekdays and 10pm-8am on weekends, during which no outdoor speakers or noise amplification is allowed. During Quiet Hours please keep outside noise to no longer than conversational level. Keep in mind these are the same rules that are expected to be followed in a hotel, in which public amenities are closed during quiet hours. If you plan to be loud and boisterous past Quiet Hours please take it inside the home.
3. Spa and pool heating are extra. $25/day for spa heating and $100/day for pool heating. Pool will be heated to 85 degrees. Please advise beforehand if you want to take advantage of pool heater as it takes 10 hours to heat the pool so it is warm by check in.
4. Early check in at 1PM ($150) and late check out at 2PM ($150) is available for an extra fee ONLY if there are no back to back bookings to allow for proper cleaning.
5. Minimum 25 years of age to book.
6. No pets are allowed under any circumstances. A fine of $500 will be imposed for any presence or evidence of pets on the premises.
7. No more than 6 vehicles allowed.
8. No smoking inside the home.
