Positive: Absolutely sensational! Incredible house in an even more incredible location, a perfect getaway place for a family who want to spend some time together peacefully. We stayed there with 9 people (6 adults, 3 children [15, 11 and 2 y]) and the house was more than spacious enough (3 bedrooms). The kitchen was excellently equipped to cook, there is a washing machine if needed. The pool is beautiful, and the river even more stunning. We spent most of our time swimming down there in the open water and doing stand-up paddle (The house provides one stand-up paddle; for anyone who can, I suggest bringing more or a kayak!). There is space to have an open fire outside at night. There is one bar 10 min drive that is only open Fri-Sun but it was brilliant! Carrancas is an hour away and that is brilliant too, with lots of waterfalls and some delicious restaurants. The owner was absolutely lovely and super helpful. Contacted well in advance to ensure everything was organised and went smoothly. Easy to get in and out.
Negative: Not a negative per se, but whoever stays here should be aware that the nearest shop is about an hour away. Not the owners fault but there were a lot of stray dogs that kept coming to the house and they were full of ticks.
