"Turtle Nest", is a great place for a quick family getaway, vacation, or just a place for family and friends to have fun. "Turtle Nest," is six years old, and is a canal home. This house is a family oriented house, not a party house. The home is beautifully furnished with all the amenities included. You can use the kayaks/paddle board in the canal (provided), and head to the bay, or fish in canal. For your pleasure we currently provide kayaks with different size life vests, 14 foot canoe, bicycles (some helmets), stand-up board, and have several games for family fun.
Jamaica Beach is a safe community where families can ride their bikes on protected side streets, launch your boat at the neighborhood boat dock, or walk the kids to the playground (newly built), and community pool, (5.00 per person per day). From our house you are only 1/2 mile from the beach. Jamaica Beach has its own Police Department and volunteer Fire Department that provide service 24 hours a day.
"Turtle Nest", has everything for the family to relax and forget about the hectic city life. We have a full entertaining area with beautiful bar and grill, outside stereo, where family and friends can share special moments. Pets under 25lbs are allowed. Exceptions can be made by the owner regarding your pet. There is an additional fee for your pet. No more than two pets, 150.00 for one or two pets. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent. Cashier checks and money orders will not be accepted because of scams. Golf cart is available to rent with agreement upon request, can be driven to the beach, or around the neighborhood, and price is listed below. Payment for golf cart will be paid with cash and/or venmo upon arrival. No unlicensed drivers and no driving at night. Two nights 200.00, Three 275.00, Four 300.00., just pay when you arrive.
We only allow up to six guest to stay overnight. Please do not try and sneak additional people in overnight. If you violate the six guest rule for overnight stay, you will be asked to leave, and you will not be refunded any money. I take pride in my house and want the very best accommodations for our guest. We allow no more than ten guest to socialize with you at our property during the day. The driveway can hold no more than four cars and the street is to narrow to park on.
I want to make it very clear that if at any time the police are called out because of fighting, drunkenness, or other behavior that is not appropriate, you will be escorted off the property. I have neighbors that make Jamaica Beach their permanent residence, and I do not want them subjected to guest that are unruly. We do have exterior cameras on our property. This is to provide additional protection for our guest as well as to protect our property.
I highly recommend that you purchase traveler insurance during the Hurricane season which runs from the end of August through November.
