Old Blacksmith's Workshop is a lovely single-storey cottage resting in the heart of the historic fishing port of Whitby, ideal for a small family on holiday or couples travelling together. Originally a blacksmith's workshop, this Whitby holiday cottage has been lovingly restored, and is stylishly furnished offering well-equipped accommodation with the added bonus of a dedicated parking space nearby.
Enter through the front door into the welcoming open-plan living area with a pitched roof and original wooden beams, the perfect zone for spending quality time together. The well-appointed kitchen is ideal for enjoying a home-cooked meal, if you prefer not to sample the tasty local fare at the many nearby restaurants. There are leather sofas, a dining area, TV/DVD and CD player along with a selection of books to help you unwind.
On the right, the hallway leads to a contemporary bathroom with featured mosaic tiling, a bath with an overhead shower, hand basin, WC and large mirror.
All on the ground-floor, there is a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage cupboards, a chair and full length mirror. A second double bedroom has quality oak furniture and fresh white décor for a stylish feel.
Open the cottage door and you step out onto a quiet lane, perfectly placed for exploring the bustling town centre of Whitby close by. Head to Skinner Street a short walk away with its lovely array of independent cafes and vintage shops or take the quaint alleys at the front of the cottage leading down to Whitby's bustling harbour and onto the sandy beach beyond.
