Positive: We have just returned home from a 4 night/5 day stay in Pevensey at Bucket and Spades. The property was a fantastic find, it literally is on the beach. Walk out the bifold doors which open the length of the property. Walk down your own private garden and your on the beach. The property is decorated to the highest of standard and has a real beach/seaside holiday feel with fantastic colour schemes. Every bedroom had a lovely comfortable bed and had a fantastic shower and one of the bedrooms has a bath. The showers you find here are no expense spared, they are what you would expect to find in a £250+ a night hotel. The main bedroom upstairs has a wonderful sheltered balcony that allows you to sit outside even if the winds are too heavy to sit outside downstairs in the garden. It also offers shelter from rain on warm evenings. The kitchen area is open plan and brilliant if your with friends or family and want to continue socialising whilst cooking your evening meal. Yet again brilliantly fitted fridge/freezer, great oven and hidden bin and recycling area. We had family over one evening and they live in Pevensey and have visited lots of friends places and they even said it is the best property they have been in. A seperate evening another friend came from Eastbourne and fell in love with it Karen, the host for the property was fantastic also, she left us to our own devices but rest us assured she was only a call or message away if we needed her. The beach is not really busy like neighbouring town Eastbourne, so you get the best of both worlds as a trip to Eastbourne is only around £10 in a cab and takes around 15 minutes. Also lots of takeaways local if you don't want to cook whilst away, we tried a couple and they were lovely. One of the best places we have stayed and will deffinately be returning. 🌞🌊
