2 Bedroom Cottage in Pumpsaint, Caio

Brynhyfryd Cottage is a cosy, traditional detached cottage peacefully situated near the historic village of Caio on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. Nearby Caio Forest with its miles of forestry tracks is wonderful for walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike. Horse riding and fishing are both available locally. The Brunant Arms offers a wonderful Sunday carvery lunch as well as being open on selected days throughout the week is a short stroll from the cottage. The Dolaucothi Gold Mines, which date back to Roman times, are within walking distance.
Brynhyfryd Cottage is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Its central location in West Wales affords access to spectacular walking country in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Cambrian Mountains and the Ceredigion Heritage Coast of Cardigan Bay.
The Dolaucothi Arms in nearby Pumsaint is approximately one mile from the cottage and was awarded the Best Country Pub of 2019 by Countryfile Magazine, as well as being included in CAMRA's excellent Good Beer Guide for 2021. At Llanwrda, turn right onto the A482 towards Lampeter and continue on this road for approximately 7 miles. Ignore the first sign to Caio, go past Down Home Garage on your right over a small bridge and continue round two fairly sharp bends past a farm entrance with a post box opposite in a small lay-by, then take the next unmarked turning right up a small unsigned lane, continue past two bungalows on your right followed by a sharp right hand bend, up the hill and just as the road levels out you
will see a cream coloured house on your right and the cottage sits sideways on to the lane with the driveway just past it also on your right.
