We are located in scenic Northeast Iowa. The cottages are in the midst of a Mennonite settlement with dozens of quaint greenhouses and shops dotting the countryside and a very active produce auction where you can buy 50 trays of flowers at a shot in the spring and 500 pounds of pumpkins in the fall. It is not unusual to hear a horse and buggy drive past the cottages.
Our guests will have their own entrance. They will have access to our small consignment shop (see pictures) which is open Tuesday-Saturday. There is a greenhouse/produce stand within walking distance. They sell fresh baked items. Our neighbors to the north have a working greenhouse/outdoor poly furniture business.
We have two kayaks available for rent. Charles City boasts of a million dollar kayak run down the Cedar River. For the more tranquil kayak enthusiast, there is Lila's Marsh in Elma, IA and Lake Hendriks in Riceville, IA both within driving distance. The Wapsi-Great Western Line Bike Trail in Elma is a great attraction.

Our cottages are newly opened and fully remodeled. We moved the building from the Nobel Peace Prize winner Norman Borlaug farm. It is divided into two units. This listing is for the following unit:
