As a guest here, you have this entire A-frame cabin to yourself. You can use all the rooms and amenities and will be given a unique key code to access the smart lock on the front door. There's plenty of parking out front and a charging station for electric vehicles. This contemporary A-frame cabin has two designer bedrooms, each finished with high-end queen-sized mattresses, soft linens, and colorful ski-lodge-inspired decor. The theme is a reflection of our joint Canadian-American heritage, with both California and Whistler-inspired decor!
The main bedroom is located on the first floor. This mostly white room features bright red accent furniture, hardwood floors, locally inspired artwork, and private access to the patio. The second bedroom is up in the loft that overlooks the living room. This bright and air A-framed room has soaring ceilings, shiplap walls, modern hanging light fixtures, and a window that fills the room with sunlight. Red accents pop in this mostly white room, creating a modern space to relax in after a day on the slopes or at the lake. A unique spiral staircase leads from the living room up to this loft.

The home's single bathroom is an ultra-modern space featuring earthy color tones, intricate tilework, and elegant fixtures. You can step into the open shower and enjoy the rainshower features, use the gentle soaps and shampoos, and dry off with a hotel-quality towel.

The kitchen is compact but stocked with everything you need to cook as you do at home. The modern kitchen combines wood-paneled accents, custom cabinets, sleek countertops, and open shelving to create a beautiful and functional space. Brew coffee in the coffee maker and enjoy it on the patio while listening to the birds chirp. Use the stove and microwave to reheat leftovers from the cafe down the street, or cook your meal using all the gadgets and cookware provided. The drawers are stocked with kitchen utensils and tableware, and the full-size refrigerator provides plenty of space to store all your favorite foods.
The open and airy living area is filled with windows that let natural light flood in. This central lounge area features high ceilings with exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, decorative hanging light fixtures, high-end furniture, and cozy cabin-inspired decor. A plush salmon-colored sofa sits in front of the flat-screen TV, and a traditional gas fireplace adds warmth to the room. A leather sectional sits in the rear of the living room and is a great place to read, take a nap in the sun, or sit with your laptop and get some work done.

Big Bear Lake offers countless ways to experience the great outdoors, and this beautiful cabin is in the heart of it all. From the outside, the A-frame cabin makes a bold statement with a dark blue exterior and bright yellow accents. The home sits on a large plot lot dotted with shade trees, and an expansive wooden deck out front is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a quick lunch before a day on the lake.
A fire pit sits on one side of the home, surrounded by Adirondack chairs. After a day of skiing, sit together around the fire and share your day's adventures will you roast some marshmallows. In the backyard, you'll find more lounge space, a bubbling hot tub to have a relaxing soak in, and a gas BBQ. The outside area is set up to give you everything you need for a backyard party your whole group will love. Small details like a traditional picnic table and hooks to hang your towels and swimsuits complete the private oasis. There's even an electric vehicle charging station!

- Cleaning: The safety of our guests is our utmost priority. Our cleaning team is following strict CDC guidelines on sanitizing and disinfecting between stays so you can rest assured you will have a clean, worry-free stay.
- Please note that the staircase to the loft is a steep spiral.
- Civilized, well-mannered (and pampered) pups are welcome at the Lazy A-Frame. Keep in mind that we are nestled in the forest among other furry (less tame) creatures. All furry friends must be leashed at all times (no exceptions) and picked up after to keep the wild animals off our property. We allow a maximum of TWO well-mannered dogs.
- Please note that we have a security Nest door camera next to the front door & covering the driveway areas.
-Access to the cabin is from a private dirt road (not maintained by the city).
- Don't forget you are in stargazing territory. We recommend downloading an app, sitting in the hot tub or on the back deck at night, and enjoying the constellations.for an additional pet fee
