3 Bedroom Cottage in Petham, Kenfield

Barn End Cottage is a beautiful peaceful retreat in an Area of Outstanding natural beauty . It is stunningly located with picture windows looking out onto a gorgeous garden with uninterrupted views of the countryside. It is only 3 miles from Canterbury and a short distance from the coastal towns of Whitstable , Deal etc . For active holidaymakers walking , running and cycling are literally on the doorstep as we are in the North downs.
The cottage is a self contained part of a large Barn complex set in 3 acres . It is tastefully decorated and welcoming with lots of beams and character . Guests have their own large patio but are welcome to enjoy the garden.
Musicians are particularly welcome. There is an annex which contains an excellent Yamaha electronic piano and practice facilities for other instrument players. For those of a sufficient standard the owners grand piano may be available. The annex is also a perfect place to read a book or play table football . It has floor to ceiling windows looking out over the garden.

Summary: My family enjoyed our stay in Wendy’s cottage. The beds were comfortable, the cottage is peaceful and charming, and Wendy is a delightful and responsive host. We stayed during November; it must be fantastic to be there when you can enjoy the garden. We lived the views and the sense of space. The cottage is well-equipped and relaxing.
