A Small private room with a good 140 x 200 cm bed for max 2. persons. Our guests have access to a shared bathroom, shared kitchen facilities and kitchen table. Our Guests are welcome to use our washmashine and dryer without any extra costs. They also can enjoy for example the morning sun with a cop of coffee or tea , by sitting outside on our nice Terrace.

Our home is in Mosfellsbær, beautiful area just 20 min. drive from Reykjavík city center. Mosfellsbær is a quiet and cozy neighbourhood. Guest share facilities with other family member, Which are me and my daughter which is 12 years old and our cute 3 year old dog Nói who as other family members is very friendly :). Nói is a breed which is imunitty free.
Our home is NON SMOKING one , including NON SMOKING on the outside Terrace. The shared kitchen is with a dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. And the shared Bathroom is with a combination Tub/Shower.
The neighborhood is family friendly. Playground in viewing distance. Only 5 min. walking distance to a outdoor and indoor swimming pool with hot tubs, sauna's and 3 water slides, there is also access to a gym. A good golf course in only 10 min. walking distance away by the sea with a beautiful view. The nature is beautiful, mountains, ocean, and many nice walking paths. There are two small commercial centers only 1,5 km (0.60 miles) away (within a reasonable walking distance) - with all necessary service, i.e. supermarkets (best price), bakery, petrol station, pharmacy, library, restaurant, Pizza and more.
The bus station is 300 m (2 min) away and there you can take a direct bus downtown Reykjavik and to other places. To get to downtown Reykjavik, it takes only 25 min. with the bus or 15-20 min. with a private car.
Mosfellsbaer (Mosfellsbær) is situated close to the main ring road to the west/north and south/east of Iceland, and therefore our apartment is perfectly situation for great day trips in the country side - with no time wasted on traffic in the city center (and no traffic lights to get on the main ring road). Within 10 min. drive in the same direction as Thingvellir, our Nationality Park, there is a nice horse rental and in the same area was the home of our Nobel Prize winner for literature in 1955, Halldór Laxness, his home Gljúfrasteinn is a museum .
Distances: Thingvellir, National Park (33 km), Geysir (87 km), Gullfoss (97 km), Blue Lagoon (57km).
