This immaculate home with contemporary furnishings is located just a short block to the ocean. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with 1224 sq ft and sleeps four people. The condo has a separate dining area, granite countertops in kitchen, travertine stone floors, private garden patio, fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, televisions in living room and main bedroom. Summary: We arrived at the condo 6:00 pm. It was about 110 degrees inside. We contacted Karl and he sent over his maintenance person. The heating system works through the ceiling and it had malfunctioned. Tom was able to shut it off, but the condo remained very hot inside all night and the next day. Several of the light bulbs were burned out. We did find a few replacements, but were not able to replace them all. Basically, this condo needs maintenance & repairs. Neither the living room nor bedroom sliding glass doors closed or locked properly. Broken slats on shutters. Kitchen window wouldn't open. All windows and sliding glass doors were dirty. The screens have holes in them. The toilet in the master bedroom does not flush properly- takes two flushes while holding down the handle. Bad smell from both shower drains. The condo was not clean. Kitchen stove and counters were not clean and none of the floors were clean. One kitchen cabinet had a bunch of old stuff (e.g., empty candy wrappers) that looked like they were just thrown in there. Master bedroom closet-- I opened the closet door to find it half full of men's clothes (Karl?) and stuff. I found that creepy! This should have been in a locked closet marked "owner". The most disappointing thing was the hammering and sawing from the construction directly across the street that woke us up before 7 a.m.. I would not have rented this condo if I had been told about the construction.
