Our wonderful cottage sits on the North Shore of White Lake just north of Muskegon Michigan. This wonderful lake is actually part of the White River that flows out to Lake Michigan thru a large Channel. History abounds in the White Lake area. Did you know that much of the wood used to build Chicago after the great fire came from the White Lake area? Originally built in 1935 and then extensively remodeled in the mid 90's. Old and New! We purchased our Cottage several years ago and while we do not get up there as often as we should, this leaves an opportunity to share our home with select renters. We are on a protected bay as the winds from Lake Michigan are normally from the Northwest so calm waters are the norm. Nap in the Hammock, play a fast game of Badminton, or just lounge around on the deck. We also have two Kayaks and a paddleboat that may be used. Old Channel Golf Club is less than 3 miles away and has 27 holes of golf available.
