Beautiful mountain location, only 1 hour away from San Jose and 1.5 hours to the Pacific coast. Located in Altos Los Cafetales, a gated community 10 minutes away from Santiago de Puriscal. Relax in this peaceful location surrounded by lush biodiversity, native tree species, and coffee trees. Wake up to the sounds of birds and enjoy daily walks either inside of the gated community or its surroundings.
The property is surrounded by coffee plantations and recreational properties, offering peace, tranquility, and spectacular views of San Jose and the Central Valley, both night and dayin the hills of Costa Rica. Located in Altos los Cafetales, a gated community near Desamparaditos and Santiago de Puriscal.

Summary: My wife Carolin and I were fortunate to be the first guests of this beautiful house. The gated community is located approximately 1 hour drive from the SJO airport and is centrally located for exploring the best of Costa Rica. The scenic winding drive through the mountains is completely paved and in excellent condition. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing elaborate meals and even had a blender for making fresh smoothies. We were impressed with the amenities that were thoughtfully provided by Anna and Juan Carlos. From the brand new barbeque and hammock on the patio to the Ziploc bags and cleaning supplies it made our stay very enjoyable. Sitting on the porch you have an amazing view of the central valley from 3000 ft elevation. The property is very peaceful and offers lots of privacy. We are dog lovers, and were happy to get a visit from "Macho" a neighborhood dog that was very friendly and calm. He would show up occasionally and hang out with us on the porch as we enjoyed our coffee. We had a fantastic stay, and would highly recommend the Casita for anyone wanting to stay in the Puriscal area.
