Bearwallow Cottage is one of the most popular homes in our Yonder luxury portfolio, as it has been operating for over 5 years(!), and is quickly becoming a favorite retreat for guests! 25 minutes' drive (16 miles) to downtown Asheville, our secluded cottage on Bearwallow Mountain has breathtaking views of Blue Ridge Mountains from spacious front porch. Newly upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Right-off-the-property, easy-access hiking trails to breath-taking views.on the top of the Bearwallow mountainside; just a short drive to just about everything. It is VERY easy to access the home, via only paved roads right up to Bearwallow Mountain Road, which is gravel, but used by all vehicles. The home affords year round access, does NOT require 4-wheel drive except in Winter.
Open, light-filled interior with bedrooms & full baths downstairs and ample loft space plus full bath upstairs. Inviting, spacious front porch with breath-taking views ideal for lounging, birdwatching, dining, dancing and truly getting away from it all. Events: Events are allowed at this property for up to 100 guests.
NOTE: All events will have fees associated with hosting an event, and determined/finalized after speaking with the events director of the property. Please talk with a Yonder Guest Experience Specialist for a referral to the events director to discuss all that The Poplars at Bearwallow Mountain has to offer as an event space, as well as discuss costs associated for an event fee. The Pavilion has electricity, a sound system, lighting and water access. As well, enjoy the use, set up and break down of high quality tables and X back style chairs for your event.
