This is a peaceful, rural beachfront cottage surrounded by nature—ideal for guests looking to unwind in a tranquil, off-the-beaten-path setting. That said, a few things come with the territory:
Remote Location
The cottage is located at the end of Point Prim, about 30+ minutes from the nearest restaurants, shops, and amenities. During shoulder seasons (spring and fall), local businesses may have limited hours or be closed, so we recommend planning to cook and stock up on groceries in advance.
Well and Septic System
The cottage runs on a private well and septic system. After periods of heavy rain, the water may appear slightly cloudy due to natural sediment—this is normal and safe, as it’s regularly tested. We ask guests to be mindful of water use and follow posted septic guidelines. During heavy rain, we recommend avoiding running the dishwasher and washing machine on the same day.
