You'll enjoy quiet island life with Old Florida charm in Balmy Breeze Bungalow at Lazy Limpkin Cottage in established residential area w/no high rises or condos in sight. The sugar sand beaches are a 5 min walk of 370 paces and the access has no public parking so the beach feels almost semi private. Wide canal across the street. Dogs are welcome at the beach and at Balmy Breeze Bungalow! You’ll meet new friends as the locals walk their pets on the neighborhood streets and beach. Balmy Breeze Bungalow is in the lower level of the Lazy Limpkin Cottage. It is approx. 460+ sq ft. with brand new full size glass top stove w/over stove microwave and full size fridge. No steps to 1 BR/1BA w/tile floors & coastal furnishings as well as original art. The futon in the living room folds down to become a full bed. Regular coffee pot, toaster, along with fully stocked kitchen w/dishes, pots and pans, utensils as well as linens and towels. Wifi and digital antennae TV w/DVR in living room, separate master bedroom w/queen bed. Keyless entry lock on new front door. Everything you need for the beach is also provided. Not only beach towels but all the beach toys, wagon, umbrella, and chairs free for your use. Small dogs welcome to come enjoy the dog friendly beach with you! Pet sitter (licensed vet tech) available @ $15/hr should you like to go out “alone”. Please make reservation for the pet sitter. The butterfly gardens around Lazy Limpkin Cottage are filled with paver meandering paths lined with shrubs and flowers that attract butterflies and wildlife. The pine tree at the corner of our front yard is home to Ospreys that you often hear along with their babies in their big nest right on top. The front yard Rubber tree is strung with artistic shiny mirrors. The gardens of Lazy Limpkin Cottage are host to many tropical palm trees and exotic floral and fauna for our guests to enjoy. The back garden has a tiled dining table with 4 chairs along with lounge chairs to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a picnic. Under the colorful blue sail at your front door are also two coastal blue wicker chairs and small table for our guest's pleasure and relaxation. The FT Myers Beach trolley stops within a half block away and is only .75 pp/ride. It takes you up and down the entire Island including down to Lover's Key and the opposite way to the Pier. Our cottage driveway can easily accommodate our guest's car as there is no on-street parking. There is a Publix grocery store less than 2 miles away, a Catholic Church, Medical Clinic, Restaurant, and Theater less than a mile away.
