Positive: The appartment was clean and looked exactly like in the photos, or even bigger. The flat was airy, with full-hight wooden window shutters, comfortable beds and there were sufficient amount of spare sheets, pillows and blankets. There is an air conditioning in the living room and one in the main bedroom. The bed sheets were old but clean, the bathroom was clean, functional and comfortable with 24h hot and cold water. The wifi was ok. The kitchen was equiped with a microwave and a toaster which we really appreciated and there were plenty of cups and glasses. There is a balcony in the kids' bedroom (but was dirty) and a we had access to a big terrace which was really wonderful. The owners are very nice and polite and especially the lady of the house was so warm and kind! The house is situated in a relatively calm street with three grocery stores, butcher and a fruit & vegetable store and many other stores.
Negative: The flat was clean but didn't seem ready for new guests. There were no tea spoons in the kitchen, only two knives, old pots and pans without lids, no hand blender or kettle and a broken coffee-maker. The oven and the hood didn't work. Apart from the kitchen, we found a lot of broken things (towel holder; the handheld bidet holder was broken and the bidet was dripping; there was no handle in the kids' room; the same for the main door, which could only be opened with a key because it didn't have a handle..) and there were no night lamps in the bedrooms. We were told that it was the previous clients who made the damage and took some things out which we totally believe but I would expect that the flat is checked before letting the new guests in. Also, we were given only one pair of keys for the whole family so every time one of us wanted to go in, the other had to go down to open the door for them. Notice that the flat is in the 4th floor of a very nice building but without a lift. There is no air conditioning in the kids‘ bedroom, just a fan. By all means, the biggest issue was that it was not possible to shut a single door even the one in the bathroom! As for the neigborhood, there is a beach nearby but I was shocked how dirty it is. Also, don't buy meat from the butcher at the other street as we get intoxicated by the beef we bought from him. The other butcher in front of the house was ok though.
Summary: The overall stay was pleasant and we recommend this apartment but some repairs are needed.
