Summary: Pros: The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated their generosity with lifts to the station on our arrival and departure. The apartment is very spacious with lovely mountain views from the veranda and the kitchen is very well equipped which made self catering easier. It is well located for the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn cable cars and bus and train connections throughout Zillertal as well as the swimming pool, shops and restaurants in Mayrhofen. We travelled without a car so this was great! We really enjoyed the luxury of a sauna after a day out on the mountains- not something we have at home! Thank you to Monika and her family for a super holiday - we would definitely recommend a stay there. Cons: Some nights were quite warm even with the window open so a fan in the bedroom would be a useful addition.
