From its peaceful hillside setting along ‘Via Reno’, the well-serviced resort centre of Laveno-Mombello is only 8 minutes’ drive away. The lovely botanical gardens of Villa Intragnola are only 2 minutes’ drive away too, whilst Reno’s lake beach and the famous Santa Caterina del Sasso hermitage are 3-4 minutes’ drive away.
In the centre of Laveno-Mombello, a great range of shops and restaurants can be enjoyed, alongside a frequent car passenger ferry service to the western shore hotspots of Verbania (for fine dining and historical sites), Intra (for reaching the Stresa Borromean Island boat tours) and Pallanza (for reaching the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto). All stops take around just 20 minutes to reach by ferry.
The surrounding shoreline also places guests in the perfect location for sightseeing and classic holiday fun; with the eateries, ice cream shops and water sport club of Ispra, Monvalle beach and the Rocca di Angera castle all within a 4- 20 minutes’ drive away.
