Exceptionally Cute 2 bedroom in the AdirondacksWelcome to The Guest House, a sparkling clean retreat one block from Lake Algonquin. With 2 queen beds, it sleeps 4 and is filled with charming antiques and local artwork. We've designed it with your comfort in mind and provide plenty of extras to make your stay easy and enjoyable. We're now dog-friendly, welcoming up to 2 well-behaved adult dogs.There's lots to do in the area, from a beautiful 3.5-mile walk around Lake Algonquin to swimming, fishing, hiking, and exploring waterfalls. We provide a list of local activities.For those who love scenic drives, there are several picturesque lakes within an hour's drive, including Lake George, Blue Mountain Lake, and Saratoga Springs.Downstairs you'll find an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, and a large flat screen TV with Netflix. We don't have phone or cable service, but you'll have Wi-Fi.Outside, you can enjoy a charcoal grill, a spacious screened porch, and Adirondack chairs. The Guest House is conveniently located withing walking distance to the town beach, free tennis and basketball courts, a playground and the convenience store.A few things to note:- Verizon is the only cell service available; there's no landline.- No washer/dryer, but there is one in town.- We have an exterior security camera facing the driveway.- Guests must agree to follow house instructions and sign our rental agreement.Exceptionally cute, clean and comfortable. Renovated with Guests needs in mind. Great location for exploring the Southern Adirondack area. Big screened in porch for outdoor dining.Located in the town of Wells. Walking distance to lake (1/2 block), ice cream and convenience store, tennis, basketball courts.
