THE EXPERIENCE
You will get the real sense of nature at its finest. Relax and unwind with the sound of the river to the amazing sounds of the native parrots. Catch a view of some of the most beautiful birds in the world; the native Amazona Guildingii. Serenity and tranquility. Get away from the hustle and enjoy peace and quiet but look out for our whistling friends, the parrots.

Your stay begins with a spectacular rugged but fun drive from main highway to location. A ten minute drive from main highway junction to property, cross six streams. A high vehicle or 4wheel drive vehicle is recommended. We can assist if need to get from the main highway to property.
#Arrival#
Greeted by Bella and Fluff, our happy dogs. A cold Hairoun beer or the Nest virgin punch or a delightful organic basket of goodies.

~Live, learn, work and eat from your backyard. Eat from the garden…organically…learn about planting or reaping your own food.
~A beautiful cottage with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom, indoor kitchen , an outdoor gazebo kitchen with a chalkcoal BBQ grill, an outdoor bathroom, camp and grounds for outdoor games .
~Solar system provided electricity for lights, small fridge and a bedroom fan.
~Sit back and unwind… have a cold or warm drink and enjoy the flyover of our feathery🦜 friends.
~Hike to the top of the mountain to see the parrots in their habitat… camera ready.
~It’s a cool afternoon for a BBQ at the gazebo.
~Bonfire and the Nest cocoa tea under star gazing or a splendid moonlight.
~A volley ball game or two with friends or play cricket West Indian style with a coconut bat.
~Early afternoon river soak or swim, while sipping on a cold Hairoun beer
~At main highway junction there is a service station where you can get cold drinks and snacks. ~The main shopping; medical facility, police, churches, Banks (ATM) and restaurant/bar in that area is in Georgetown, 5 minutes from Congo Valley and main highway junction. Otherwise purchase food etc items in and around Kingstown supermarkets.

* the cottage rental includes basic kitchen ingredients (salt, seasoning, pepper, sugar (brown), local coconut oil, drinking water). Please bring grocery shopping as you wish. Seasonal local farm produces are available on the farm for sale. We can prepare meals for you but ONLY with advance notice. If your flight is arriving late in the afternoon/evening for your convenience we can assist with grocery shopping by filling out a grocery list form we will provide.
From Capital Kingstown to location is about an hour drive north east of the island of St Vincent. From the airport AIA is about 30 minutes.
We can refer (upon request) a reliable jeep rental or a taxi service.
