Acciaroli can be reached in 10 minutes by car and invites the evening , or an enjoyable stroll in one of the bars or restaurants . In the village center , the Piazza is located at the center with many small boutiques and cafes. At the port we observe the hustle and bustle of the fishing boats .
South of the Amalfi coast (about 60 kilometers from Salerno) and north of Cape Palinuro, the most famous resort in the Cilento with its numerous, deep blue sea caves, lies the gorgeous fishing village
Motecorice, right on the harbor.
The port of Montecorice is a 3 minutes or walking distance in about 15 minutes. There you will find the beach, bars and restaurants.
Montecorice is in the nature reserve of the Cilento and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Compared to Montecorice takes you to the mountain from where you can see the
" Isle of Capri " in good weather. The "Metro del Mare " brings you into the summer months in only 1.5 hours on the island. From Acciaroli of course you can take even more boat trips, such as along the coast to Cape Palinuro to the blue sea caves .
8 km north of Montecorice is the famous
" Santa Maria di Castellabate ." The seaside town has beautiful , wide sandy beaches , the Lungomare , the adjacent large pedestrian zone at the Villa Materazzo , and the " Centro Storico " with its far-reaching winding streets and arches. Built in the Middle Ages Castellabate is situated on a 270m high mountain peak with breathtaking views, many restaurants and bars .
Hikes and long walks , you can start right at the
front door . You can walk for hours along the mountain ridges and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of mountains and coasts. There are countless hiking trails and footpaths are to explore.
Agropoli ... the city on the rock and the jewel of the Cilento. Here you will find miles of sandy beaches and countless coves . Surrounded by greenery, the city lies on a rocky outcrop overlooking Alfitana and the island of Capri . The small town of Agropoli connects the line to Paestum (7km), Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. On the other side is the harbor with numerous sailing boats and yachts. The historic city center with monuments , restaurants and bars invite you to linger . Agropoli is about 35 minutes by car .
Capri ... Capri Island , a natural beauty in the Gulf of Naples , is approached in the summer months directly from Acciaroli and Santa Maria . One of the most famous attraction is the 50 m long and 15 m deep blue cave " Grotta Azzurra " . Piazza Umberto ( Piazzetta ) leads from the port with the cable car. The Faraglioni are the symbol of Capri. The cliffs rise up to 100 m in front of the island from the water
Paestum ... (originally Poseidonia ) is an archaeological attraction in its construction around 550 BC . Here are three Greek temples of the former trade center. The approximately 60 X 25 m large temple was built to honor Poseidon ( Roman Neptune) . In the meantime , please refer to Paestum many 4-5 star hotels due to the attraction. Paestum can be reached by car in about 1 hour .
Palinuro .. offers more than 30 caves around the Cape and is now the most popular seaside resort in the Cilento. The famous Grotta Azzurra is often compared with the blue grotto of Capri. Crystal clear water and picturesque bays describe the dreamy place most likely . Swimmers come here of their costs. Let your mind wander on the beach between huge limestone rocks. Palinuro can be reached by car in about 1.5 hours .
