This private house, at a fantastic location at Vadstena camping Vätterviksbadet is this cabin located with a small guest cabin next door. 50 meters below the house is Lake Vättern and you have a fantastic lake view with open surfaces. The lake is shallow with a sandy bottom and the beach is child-friendly. Vadstena Camping is a four-star holiday facility. The cabin is located a little bit beyond the campsite with scenic surroundings and a charming location. Both houses together have an area of 60 m2 and in the larger house there is a glazed terrace with dining area, kitchen, a combined living room with TV and sofas that can be made into 2 double beds. There´s also a WC with storage areas and the shower is located 50 meters from the house where you use your own key which is located in the accommodation. The guest cabin is nicely located close by, also with a lake view and a small balcony with chairs and table. There is a bunk bed and storage furniture. On the grounds there are several seating groups for the group and deckchairs, there is a grill and many places to enjoy the evening's dinner. There are 4 bikes available to use which are in storage. For those who wish, there are many activities in the area such as the nearby paddling course and fun things for the children. On sunny days pedal boats, canoes and sup are available for hire in the rental cabin below the restaurant. The area has a restaurant, pub and a service shop with freshly baked bread every morning. Vadstena is only 4 kilometers away, a creative history and a popular destination that welcomes many visitors. Here you find yourself in the middle of history, among castles, monasteries and medieval buildings. The picturesque and cozy city center with cobbled streets and old preserved wooden houses is charming, genuine and alive. There is also fun shopping and restaurants around the square. Motala Östergötland's Sjöstad is a very scenic location by the lake Vättern, Göta canal and Motala Ström. Motala has a rich history with lots of interesting people, stories and works of art. The Göta canal is a real gem and being part of a sluice is an experience just in it´s own. If you want to make slightly longer day trips in Östergötland and the surrounding area, there are favorites such as Kolmården's zoo, Astrid Lindgren's world and Lasse Maja's detective agency. Every city has its own charm and the bigger city of Linköping is only 50 kilometers from Vadstena. Vadstena Golf course with 18 holes is very popular and well visited by many golf lovers. The barrier to the camping area is open every day from 8 am to 10 pm. Welcome to Östergötland.
