A cozy holiday apartment on the ground floor of the owner's residence. You have your own secluded terrace that faces the fjord. 2 of the beds can be combined into a double bed. This is the perfect place for sport fishers and other nature enthusiasts. No midges or mosquito the last 15 years, so you can stay outside throughout the whole evening. Excellent fishing conditions - you can catch cod and coalfish in April and May, and larger coalfish in September and October. The fjord is sheltered from rough weather. 250 meters to the salmon and trout river of Visa, and a trout lake is 3,5 km away. The shallow waters of the shoreline has an exciting birdlife and is perfect for children to play in. Go hiking in the many mountains in the area. Look up unit 24153 for more information. Summary: Ein Ausflug zum Geiranger, verbunden mit der Überfahrt der Fähre von Geiranger nach Hellesylt und der Fahrt über die Trollstigen ist sehr empfehlenswert. Man muß aber dafür einen ganzen Tag einplanen. Auch der Mardalsfossen ist recht schön, obwohl die herabstürzenden Wassermassen schon sehr auf Sparflamme gestellt sind. Ich möchte an dieser Stelle auch einige Mißstände in der Wohnung angeben, die einen Urlaub dort nicht gerade versüßen. Schon bei unserer Ankunft war die Vermieterin nicht anwesend, sondern ein schwerkranker, nur norwegisch sprechender Herr versuchte uns mit dünner Stimme und zittrigen Händen die Wohnung zu zeigen. Eine Verständigung war gleich null. Der Brotkasten in der Küche ist innen verrostet, die Klappe läßt sich auch nicht schließen, ein Topf steht mit einer großen angebrannten Kruste im Schrank, ein weiterer ist von innen verrostet. Im Bad floß das Wasser weder in Waschbecken noch in der Dusche richtig ab, ganz zu schweigen von dem Geruch, den man nur etwas reduzieren kann, wenn man den ganzen Tag das Fenster angeklappt läßt. Das ist aber bei Temperaturen von ca. 13/14 Grad tagsüber schon eine Herausforderung. Erst nach Entfernung von Haarbüscheln und schon festgewordenen Seifenresten konnte das Wasser wieder vernünftig abfließen. Nun zur Waschmaschine: also erstmal soll man 20 Kronen für jede Waschmaschinenbenutzung bezahlen. Das sind zwar nur ca. 2 Euro, aber erstens steht es nicht in der Beschreibung und zweitens ist der Zustand der Waschmaschine eine Zumutung. Wenn man das Waschmittelfach auszieht, sieht man eine ekelerregende Schimmelsubstanz innen sowie auch außen. Die Benutzung ist also nicht möglich. Wir fahren schon so viele Jahre über Dancenter nach Norwegen, aber soetwas ist uns noch nicht untergekommen. Die Vermieterin selbst ist eine sehr nette Frau, spricht zwar auch nur norwegisch, aber das mit Händen und Füßen. Eine Einrichtung, die nicht auf dem modernsten Stand ist, kann aber trotzdem ordentlich und sauber sein. Vielleicht wäre hier auch eine Kontrollfunktion angebracht.
