Lovely holiday house with private shoreline in a magnificent coastal landscape at Taen on Hadselsøya's west side. Panoramic view towards the sea and the Lofoten Islands in the south. Fresh sea air, great hiking opportunities. Winter experiences with northern lights. Good starting point for car excursions in Vesterålen and Lofoten. The holiday house is located on a sunny lot and has a cozy interior. Large windows in the living room make the room light and pleasant and provide a great view. All rooms are on one level. Two bedrooms, one with ,a double bed and an extra bed, and one with two single beds. Free internet/broadband with large capacity. In the living room, there is a TV with Norwegian and international channels and a wood-burning stove that provides good warmth on cold days. The house is located 100 m from the sea with a child-friendly, shallow beach. The area is known for its beautiful coastal landscape. 3 km to Uværshula where you can sit in a cave and experience the large sea waves hitting the shore. From the house and the terrace, there is a magnificent view of the sea and the Lofoten Islands to the south. Hiking trails into the mountains with magnificent views of the ocean. Lots of fish in the sea and you can fish with a rod from shore. Midnight sun is an experience you will never forget. In winter, there is the northern lights in all shades of color. Good starting point for day trips by car around to the many fishing villages in Vesterålen and Lofoten. Car ferry can be taken from Melbu to Fiskebøl. Visit Svolvær, Lofoten's “capital”, and the fishing village of Henningsvær. At Andenes in the north, there is whale safari where you can take a boat out and experience the big whales up close - an exciting experience for the whole family. 10 km to Melbu with shops and restaurants. A minor road runs between the house and the beach, where there can be a lot of traffic in the summer, but little traffic the rest of the year.
